Words to know

Ratio: A way to compare amounts, like 4 : 1 : 2.
Proportion: When two ratios are equal, like 4 : 1 and 8 : 2.
Scale up: Multiply every part by the same number.
Equivalent ratios: Ratios that compare in the same way, like 1 : 2 and 3 : 6.
