Make rectangles on a grid. Count the squares inside (area) and the distance around (perimeter).

- Area
- How much surface a shape covers, counted in squares.
- Perimeter
- The total length of the boundary of a shape.
- Length and breadth
- The long side and the short side of a rectangle.
- Square
- A rectangle with all four sides equal.
